Pre-mamu

Annie & Kerry competed at the Paris Olympic Games, returned to corporate.

Alex settled into a corporate tech routine.

Weekends consisted of roaming stores, window shopping, trying to find our unique styles to add to our wardrobe that didn't feel too loud but also had hints of personality. Pieces didn't quite have the versatility we were looking for.

Seed of life

v.0 of the Jinnoir jacket before it was named was crafted in the middle of a park near home. Just 3 people on a random Sunday, where a passion and vision took form. 

Birth of mamu

Researched supply chain models, looked into various material suppliers and manufacturers, ordered sample fabrics and swatches while learning how to create a tech pack that captured the vision in our minds. The passion was now ignited. Sample 1 was ordered.

Jinnoir & Blume

September 2025: Lots of refining designs, adding functionalities, perfecting our product and colorways. mamu was coming to life through trial and error. Sample 2 was placed.

November 2025: Factory visit, sustainable mission, sharing our vision for mamu with our manufacturing team in China. Sample 3 was placed.

Ramping up for launch

Final adjustments made, bulk order placed, prepping for launch.
